Stages of Development21.12.1945 USSR Government Decree about Institute establishing. Commencement of works in the area of antiknocks synthesis for motor fuels.
1951 Set up of a pilot plant and commencement of works on organosilicon projects. 1951-1957 Set up of metal carbonyls production at “Sintez” Production Association in Dzerzhinsk and at a pilot plant in a town of Redkino. 1952-1965 Design office of the institute was established, commencement of works in the area of organoaluminum (OAC) and organotin (OTC) compounds.
1957-1964 Commisioning of organosilicon compounds plants: Chemical plant in Dankov (DCP, 1957), “Kremniipolymer” in Zaporozh’e (1960), “Khimprom” in Usol’e, (1964), Chemical plant in Slavgorod (1964).
1986 the Institute was awarded with Order of Labor Red Banner
1960 Start up of organoboron structure at a Pilot plant in Dzerzhinsk (DPP). 1964 Commencement of works on organogermanium compounds. 1981-1984 Start up of ferrocene product (OSF) manufacturing line at DCP (1981), silicones at “Khimprom” PO in Cheboksary (1983), monosilane at “Kremniipolymer” (1984). 1985 Setup of the museum, where all institute developments are presented. 1994 – the Institute was awarded with the status of State Scientific Centre of RF
1985-1999 further research and implementation of a series of organoelement (Si, Cr, B, Al, Fe, Co, Mn etc.) and a few inorganic compounds technologies, as well as unique materials on their basis Academicians A.N. Nesmeyanov, K.A. Andrianov, G.A. Razuvaev, K.A. Kocheshkov, O.S. Medvedev, I.V. Petryanov-Sokolov, A.D. Petrov participated in Institute formation and development.
